There was then another dialog box which said I need to restart eclipse for this to take effect.Īfter selecting workspace I get error: 'An error has occurred' The next dialog screen said the 'Scala Search' would not be installed.Īfter confirming this I was asked to confirm the terms and conditions which I did. I then dragged the install button to the marketplace window in Eclipse (above).Įclipse then brought up this dialog. I then went to the marketplace website and found scala here. I looked for scala but could not find it. The following is what I did to attempt to install scala: First I went to Marketplace within Eclipse. Now every time I start Eclipse it crashes with this error 'An error has occurred' immediately after I select the workspace.
